Standard Poodles

Standard Poodles are known for their distinctive curly coat and athletic build. Standard Poodles are over 15 inches in size and range from 40 to 60 pounds. Their life expectancy is 10-18 years.

Poodles have a low allergen coat in black, white, or apricot. To avoid matting, they need to be brushed daily and groomed every 6 weeks. The breed sheds very little and is a good choice for those with allergies.

Standard Poodles are affectionate family dogs that are good with children and other pets. Originally bred as hunting dogs, Standard Poodles are very intelligent and easy to train. They require daily, regular exercise, and most love to swim. They are natural retrievers and also love going on long walks or jogs with their owner.
